A Film that Truly Changed the Way Films Were Made

Few films that are released are found to change how film making is done. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly along with Casablanca are a couple films in this elite group. Instead most films made today are done so for a few reasons; either to make some money quickly or to remake an old popular flick. The Matrix follows the story of a character that eventually becomes known as Neo. Neo is played by Keanu Reeves. The world he always knew was really just a computer program, a reality he was introduced to early in the film. He was hooked up to the computer and his real body was stuck in a pod. Freeing Neo from this program are people who are trying to eliminate it called rebels. They believe he is the one who can free humans from the control of computers.

Three different movies are used to tell the story. The one film of them all that really changed how all films were made was the first. The original film really started the revolution, but the others also had scenes that pushed the boundaries of film making. Technology has advanced quite a bit since the original films got released. These films have never before been seen in the way that they can be now. Digital theaters, as well as those in the home, allow the films to be seen in high definition.
